You Taek Choi

You Taek graduated from the University of Auckland while he was working at Russell McVeagh in New Zealand as a consultant, and following his admission as a solicitor and barrister of New Zealand High Court, became a senior solicitor at Russell McVeagh in 1997.

Following his admission as a solicitor and barrister of Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia, he joined Minter Ellison Group as a special counsel in 2001. He has been acting for many of Korean and Japanese companies in Australia and New Zealand such as Hyundai, Samsung, Daewoo, SK, Sanyo, Sony and etc.

You Taek has extensive experience in Corporate, Commercial, Property and Immigration matters. He has special in depth knowledge for overseas investment and Korean laws. He travels to New Zealand and Korea regularly developing firm's business and assisting foreign investors.

You Taek is multilingual, speaking Korean, English, Japanese and Spanish. With You Taek's experience with many different nationalities, he is able to provide personalised legal service to many different cultural groups in Australia.
